The recent DET data released reports that the international enrollment in Australia has increased by 14% with China, India, Malaysia, Nepal, and Vietnam as top five sending source. As per reports, it’s the greatest growth in the first four months of the year 2017. With the latest data, the total enrollment as of April 2017 comes to 492,964 foreign students. Based on Australia’s National Strategy for International Education, an additional AUS$3.6 million funding will be provided for 14 new projects to strengthen Australia’s international education sector. The Australian government has also announced its strategy to aim foreign enrollment of 720,000 by 2025.
