In almost every aspects, Australian international education sector have reported more enrolment trend in recent years, especially from last three to five years. According to the recent report published by Australia’s Analysis & Policy Observatory (APO), the number of international students commencing education in Australia was 85,497, which increased to 124,150 in 2016. The jump recorded was 21.8% to 26.7%.
According to the observatory, this is a “remarkable record”. The other accolades in the same cap are listed below:
- The University of Sydney recorded the proportion of international students as 23% which increased to 39% in 2016;
- The University of NSW also recorded the number as 39% contribution in 2016;
- The University of Melbourne and Monash University recorded the rough statistics of 36% international students enrolled.
This comes as a great relief who are looking for the Australian Universities as the destination of further study.
