GSLS Fellowship – University of Würzburg
The GSLS Fellowship is awarded to Ph.D. fellows by the University of Würzburg. The eligibility criteria of the GSLS Fellowship are that the applicant must hold a university degree in life sciences’ subject and should ready to undergo training to learn basic German. The applicant will be awarded 5000 Euros per year to meet the research expenses and traveling allowance.
DAAD Internships in Science and Engineering – German Academic Exchange Service
Indian students pursuing graduation in Mathematics, Engineering, and Science are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to final years or pre-final years students to pursue an internship in on-going research projects in Germany.
The scholarship holders will get a chance to work with doctoral students, scientists, and professors involved in the research projects. Offered by German Academic Exchange Service, the scholarship awards a sum of 650 Euros per month along with 525 Euros as travel allowance to selected students.
Humboldt Research Track Scholarship
The Humboldt Research Track Scholarship is for awarded to applicants willing to pursue Ph.D. in Germany. The applicant should be a Master degree holder in any discipline to apply for this scholarship. The selected students are awarded 800 Euros per month for a period of six months. Besides, a sum of 400 Euros will be awarded to support the expenses of children of the selected scholars.
Ph.D. Fellowship – Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds
The Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds awards Ph.D. fellowships to outstanding junior scientists who wish to pursue biomedical research in Germany. The selected candidates will be awarded a monthly allowance of 1550 Euros, a research allowance of 150 Euros and several other allowances for supporting the spouse and children of the selected Ph.D. scholar for a period of one year.
